TRIAL
During our first meeting we will discuss your wedding in detail. I love hearing all about the wedding this helps me get an idea of how you want to look on your wedding day. Feel free to bring photos of anything to do with your wedding and ideas for makeup, we can discuss these further and create the perfect, timeless look for your big day. It’s important to look like an enhanced version of yourself on your wedding day not a completely different person, so we will take into account what you normally do with your make-up.
Choosing your wedding makeup is almost as important as picking your dress. A pre-wedding trial is a must as it is important to get the look correct for the special day, and also to ensure everything wears perfectly on your skin. We will also talk through the logistics for your wedding morning. I can makeover a maximum number of 6 clients in a wedding party. If your wedding party exceeds this I can bring in another artist to help on the wedding morning.
Once we are happy with the look, I will note down products used and take photos to accompany the notes, so it’s easy to recreate your chosen look on your wedding day. Trials generally take around 90mins - we can try lots of different products until we create your perfect bridal look. Trials will take place at the salon and I suggest trials take place around three months before your wedding day.
ON THE DAY
On the day I will arrive at your chosen venue with plenty of time to set up. It will usually take around 45 mins per makeup. Makeup will be usually be applied to the bridal party first, the bride will generally have makeup applied last on the wedding day so it remains as fresh as possible. It depends how you are having your hair to whether makeup is applied before or after your hair is styled, this can be discussed at the trial. I will leave enough time to check & top up lip products before I leave you and I will bring everything I need with me...good lighting is helpful so bear this in mind when choosing where we will be doing makeups.
I suggest having completed hair and makeup around 40minutes before leaving so you are left with enough time to get into your dress, have photographs taken and enjoy the time with your bride tribe without feeling rushed :)
